Yes! The Road Rider can work with virtually any phone or tablet with a Bluetooth connection, or a headphone output for AUX connectivity.
The battery will last up to 25 hours with no lights on. Please note, battery life may vary based on temperature, age, and volume usage of product.
If the battery fails to charge, check the fuse near the power cable input. If the fuse is not intact, please replace it. The battery can be replaced with a 12V 5aH sealed lead-acid battery.

A fully-charged Road Rider battery can last up to 50 hours at a reasonably loud indoor listening volume. Battery life may vary based on temperature, age, and volume usage.
The Road Rider is dust-proof, but not water-proof. The rubber covers located over the A/C adapter connections are intended to prevent debris such as dust, saw-dust, and dirt from entering and are not water-proof covers. The rubber dust-covers are not user-replaceable parts.
Yes! The Road Rider features a USB charging port that will charge your smartphone or tablet.

The range of the Bluetooth connection of a Road Rider is up to 100 feet - as long as the transmitting audio source is not moving around, there are no obstructions between the audio source and the Road Rider, and it is not in a pocket or covered in any way. The range can also be affected by the Bluetooth chipset in the audio source, as well.
No, the A/C outlets will only work when the Road Rider is connected to A/C power.
If the sound from your Road Rider is coming out distorted, try lowering the volume control of your sound source - such as your iPod or iPhone. Also, try reducing the overall volume of the Road Rider. If you continue to experience sound issues after following the steps suggested above, you may want to contact ION Audio Tech Support.
The Road Rider does have an auto-switching power supply that will adjust to the current it’s connected to. Please be advised that using the Road Rider outside of the country it was purchased in will void your warranty.
When the LED is illuminated, the Road Rider is charging. If the LED is off, the Road Rider is not drawing any power supply.
No, the Road Rider has a safety mechanism built-in that will stop the Road Rider from charging when your car battery falls below a certain level.
