Which operating systems do the iO Hub drivers support?

The iO Hub is "class-compliant", meaning it does not require any drivers. Computers running Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 or Mac OSX 10.6 and above will automatically recognize the iO Hub. 



What audio software does the iO Hub support?

The iO Hub can be used with any digital audio workstation or recording software that supports USB audio. Control Hub owners may also download AIR Music Tech's IGNITE software from 



Can I use the iO Hub with my iPad?

The iO Hub can connect to your iPad using Apple's Camera Connection Kit (sold separately).


Will the iO Hub work with a condenser microphone? 

Yes! The iO Hub has an on board battery compartment (batteries sold separately) that provides 48 volts of Phantom Power for use with condenser microphones. Dynamic microphones will work without needing Phantom Power. 



Can I use the iO Hub just on battery power, without a USB connection?

The iO Hub requires a USB connection for power. The on board battery compartment is used only to provide the Phantom Power to condenser mics. 



What are "combo inputs"?

INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 on the iO Hub use "combo" inputs, which combine both a 1/4" and XLR type on one input jack. Any of the connectors shown below will fit.
