What plugin formats are supported?

Each manufacturer and software title has individual plugin format support.  Below is a chart that outlines the available formats for each virtual instrument included in the Advance Music Production Suite.


Are the included programs full, unlimited editions?

Absolutely!  All software programs, effects, and sample collections are full, unlimited versions of the advertised software complete with full-functionality, registration and authorization rights, and manufacturer-entitled support.


Why won't my hard drive power on?

The Advance Music Production Suite comes with a mini-USB to dual USB-B cable.  If the hard drive will not power on, be sure to connect both USB-B connections simultaneously to two USB ports on your computer.  

Due to power constraints of some computer USB ports, both connections may be required, with one USB connection providing power to the hard drive and the other used to pass information back and forth.


Can I run the programs from the included hard drive?

Install the software directly to your computer hard drive.  There are a number of dificulties that can arise by attempting to install and run the software or samples from the included hard drive and it is not recommended to do so.


My installation progress bar just stopped.  What do I do?

Allow the installation to finish, do not stop the installation prematurely.

Some installers are up to 200GB and on many computers it could take the better part of a day to complete the installation. The total time will vary from computer to computer but you should allow an ample amount of time for the installation to happen.  

You might also notice a progress bar during installation that moves quickly to the end but then just seems to stop there.  This is normal and the software is continuing to install.  Allow the installation to finish and do not stop the installation prematurely.


I only see one installer each for SONiVOX and AIR.  Am I missing programs?

Not at all.  Most of the plugin installers are individual installers for each program, organized by developer.  Each plugin needs to be installed separately.  However, SONiVOX and AIR Music Technology each created a bundled installer for all of their software. For example, simply run the AIR installer and it will prompt you through the installation of the entire package of AIR software - you do not have to install each plugin individually.


Do I need an iLok for any of the included software?

No.  You are not required to have an iLok for use with any of the software, effects, or sample packages included in the Advance Music Production Suite.
