Yes! The lights react to the audio from your Bluetooth device as well as from the mic input on the front of the device. This light reaction to audio is set for optimal performance when the volume from your Bluetooth-connected device is set between 50 - 75%.
In order to have a great party, you need bright lights. Avoid staring directly into the dome lights to avoid hurting your eyes in any way. It is recommended to turn Light Mode off when not in use.
The range of the Bluetooth connection of the House Party is up to 100 feet - as long as the transmitting audio source is not moving around, there are no obstructions between the audio source and the House Party, and it is not in a pocket or covered in any way. The range can be also be affected by the Bluetooth chipset in the audio source as well.
